Waterproof, gas-tight ALICE pack liner. Manufactured from heavy-duty nylon butyl rubber tri laminate, this bag provides a very functional and cost-effective way of waterproofing your existing rucksack without purchasing a more expensive amphibious rucksack. Also used in sandy, windy environments to keep out dirt. The waterproof liner attaches to the rucksack by means of permanently attached nylon cords strategically located to mate with the rucksack. An oral inflator with a convenient stow pocket allows excess air to be released to reduce excess buoyancy or added if necessary. As additional protection for the waterproof bag, an inner bag of the same configuration manufactured from heavy-duty 1,000 denier Cordura gives extra protection to the waterproof bag and protects the interior from punctures and sharp edges while still allowing for the highest reliability factor. The waterproof zipper is placed around the top circumference of the bag for easy loading.
